Hometown: Troutdale, OR
Dakota “Kody” O’Neil was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up in nearby Troutdale. He attended Reynolds High School before earning two Bachelor of Science degrees from Oregon State University: one in Exercise and Sports Science, and a second in Chemistry. Kody then went on to attend Edith Cowan University north of Perth, Australia. There he earned a Masters of Science in Strength and Conditioning. Kody began playing rugby in high school at the encouragement of some football friends. Kody’s inspiration to continue to play at the professional level is his love for the sport and the culture of rugby, and from a desire to test his personal limits.
